Reconnecting Games Workshop with their China community

 

Games Workshop had exited the China market in 2019, leaving their community desperate to connect. Hot Pot helped Games Workshop re-enter the China market with a campaign devoted to their fanbase.

We wanted to unify their community, so we put out the 'Call to War'. We sent out a message to the existing fanbase across the internet asking them to band together and get ready to fight. We then drove them to our community mini-program where they could connect and engage with one another. Those who joined in the fight then received their sign-up confirmation in the post, thanking them for taking up arms.
